2. Dirty Air Filter

A dirty air filter can restrict airflow to the point that your AC might blow warm air. Generally speaking, you should change your air filter at least once every six months. 3. Bad Compressor

The compressor inside your AC is an essential piece of the puzzle, so a bad compressor can cause your AC to blow warm air. A bad compressor means your AC can't convert refrigerant to cold air, so it simply blows warm air into your home instead.
